«Deilor» will lead the League of Legends coaching staff of Movistar Riders
Luis «Deilor» Sevilla, Director of Sports Performance of Movistar Riders, will lead the League of Legends coaching staff of Movistar Riders facing the first split of 2018. For this, «Deilor» will move to Madrid in the coming dates to work daily with the coaches and the team at the Movistar eSports Center.
After the release of the League of Legends roster of Movistar Riders, the Club makes official that Luis «Deilor» Sevilla, Director of Sports Performance, will lead the coaching staff working daily with them and the team in the the Movistar eSports Center facilities. Until now, «Deilor» had established methodologies to ensure sustainable growth in the sports structure of Riders, also improving the results in the different competitions. The new processes have been formalized, for example, in the implementation of the 10-man roster of Lol. While continuing to set new strategies in the medium and long term, «Deilor» will assume the leadership of the coaching staff with full dedication. In the words of «Deilor» himself, his task will be to «teach the staff and, through the staff, teach the players», adding that «it is a matter of pouring a lot of information to the coaches, putting them in uncomfortable situations. that they leave their comfort zone and learn new processes». All this pursues the idea of winning but not in any way: «The objective is undoubtedly to win but to do so in such a way that success is sustainable in the long term.»
With the assumption of this responsibility by «Deilor», Movistar Riders once again reinforces its firm commitment to the contribution to the growth of eSports in Spain, developing operating models that are considered key to understanding that both the future of League of Legends, like electronic sports in general, goes through its immediate application.
